At my own computer, no less. It’s so hard to think at work. At least about the important stuff, anyway.
On the way home this eve, my son and I were discussing a couple interesting things.
First, do all people hear thoughts in their heads, clearly and out loud? I wondered if just creative people do that, or do all people do that. We came to the conclusion that probably everyone does it, but not too many people actually pay attention to it.
Next topic was color. He wonders how do we know if two people see the same color in the same way. For example, we both could point to the color green. But does it look the same, same shade-hue-saturation to you as it does to me? How would we know? We still wonder.
Poor kid. There’s nothing like being captive audience in the passenger seat of my car, haha. He inherited his weirdness honestly, at least.
What a smart & lucky boy!

I often wonder that myself, if everyone hears thoughts in their heads, clearly and out loud or if I should be institutionalized?!
I guess we all do, everyone hears them, maybe some not as loud as others, but everyone does… I think it’s about paying enough attention to your own head to be able to realize that there is something there that’s talking to you!:)
Have a great weekend Madison!
Haha, Lua. I’ve often wondered if the intensity or inner volume of my thinking is a ‘normal’ thing. There’s always been that little concern in the back of my mind that one day, someone’s going to find out about it and lock me away.
