What am I working on these days?
A few things. Editing Symbiosis, my main WIP is one. Right now the chapter I’m working on is much less action-filled than the previous chapter. It’s one of those times where my character is walking along the bottoms, not doing anything in particular exciting. There is tension, though, and this is a good thing. Otherwise it could become boring. Kali reveals something critical to the plot, which is the point of the whole chapter to begin with.
I’m working on something new, too. If you get a chance, check out Naturally NW Arkansas. It’s a blog geared toward marketing and advertising those local businesses with an alternative or natural slant. It’s brand new so not much has been done with it yet, and I haven’t begun the process of soliciting participants. Fayetteville and Rogers have quite a few that fall into this category, so I hope it takes off and become successful.
There’s still the short story that came to me in a dream a while back. I’ve been working on it a little at a time, but although I like the story and I think it’s going to be a great one, it’s on the back burner for the most part. Too many other things going on right now.
Tomorrow I want to work on getting my garden ready for spring. I still have one end of the fence I need to put up, plus the gate. Then a bunch of rocks are begging to be stacked to make beds. Oh, of course after that I’ll need soil to fill them… sounds like a lot of sore muscles by Sunday!
What’s been going on with you? Working on any new projects or making progress on old ones?
