At the risk of sounding manic, after the depressive posts of yesterday, today’s word is euphoric.
Some days are just like that. Right out of bed. And I love them for it. Alarm clock goes off, coffee is brewed, breakfast is in the oven, hair is washed, kid is awakened… blog post is written.
It’s a good morning.
And guess what else? I heard the first whippoorwill of the season. For some reason, that always puts me in a good mood. Soon so many of them will be making that noise morning and night it’s going to be entertaining just to sit on the porch and listen.
