No, but that’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Z words. Zebra won’t do though…surely I can come up with a better word. And if not, I’d better find a creative way to talk about zebras.
Zorro’s a good word, the masked crusader who always came to the rescue at the last minute. It’s also a good word because Z is the end of this A to Z challenge, and the topic of this post is Endings. And at the end of every episode, Zorro would always slash his big Z on the wall or whatever was handy nearby.
Sometimes I feel a bit like Zorro, but in a bad way. I make up something quick and wrap up the loose ends and then it’s over. That’s not the best way to come to an end of a story.
If a larger-than-life character has to come in and rescue the damsel it feels like a contrived scene and I feel disappointed. I like realistic ends, whether happy or not.
