A couple of short reviews of my short in Cthulhurotica

Always like running across reviews of something I’ve written, if they’re good ones. Do any of you post the bad reviews too? I haven’t found any yet (other than what I sense is a bit of disappointment from the reviewer at Yog Sothoth), but just wondered…

Another favorite Daddy’s Girl by Madison Woods has a oozing, odd S&M trainer of the beastly feel to it. It has you flipping the few pages of its life span wondering where it will go next. Will it descend into depravity, rise to the heights of ecstasy, or do both?   From a 5/2011 review of Cthulhurotica at Boston Book Bums

Yog Sothoth has compliments even if it wasn’t directly Mythos:

Daddy’s Girl (Madison Woods) is not Mythos fiction. It is well written and original, which I applaud it for, but aside from some intimations of tentacle sex, there is really nothing Mythos about it.   From a 5/2011 review of Cthulhurotica at Yog Sothoth

You can read more about the anthology at Cthulhurotica’s website. It is safe for work.

  1. Yes – a very strange tale, one of a collection of equally strange tales by other authors. The anthology is called Cthulhurotica and is comprised of erotica shorts based on the monsters of H.P. Lovecraft’s world (Cthulhu Mythos). Mine was not so directly related, but rather, inspired.

  2. Wow – it must be a thrill to run across reviews of your story! Congratulations, Madison. We miss seeing you. What’s been going on? Come back soon!

  3. Hi Jan! I’ve been missing y’all too. If I manage to find my horses tomorrow after work, I’ll be free to come to the meet this week :) And I’ve got our potluck on the calendar for the 18th. Time is just in very short supply these days, but I’ve still been writing!

Hey, thanks for the comment! While you're here, if you'd hit the Tweet or FB share button, it would help this author's cause tremendously!
