Sights SOUNDS I love
It would help if I’d get my senses right, wouldn’t it?
Here’s the proper link. I messed up on my original post this morning and if you found an Error 404 page earlier, I apologize.

There are a few things that when I hear them it touches something deep inside, some part of me that lets me know it’s important *for me* to hear these things every once in a while.
The sound of a horse blowing after a quick sprint on a cold morning. Hooves pounding, yet out of sight gaining in volume and speed as proximity increases.
The sound of geese honking on a dim, foggy morning. Out of sight and fading as proximity decreases heading somewhere, destination *to me* unknown.
Coyotes whippling discordant songs in syncopated unison with pups and cousins on the ridges south, sometimes in the valley below. The sound of my livestock guardian dog responding, strong and confident, to let them know to keep their distance.
Laughter of my grand-babies, yet too young to speak, expressing themselves clearly nonetheless. The voice of a loved one, hypnotic as ever even half a world away.

Over the next few Saturdays (not counting Christmas weekend), I’ll be exploring the senses that move me. I’d love it if you share yours and comment on mine.
