Thanks to my little blogging blunder a week or so back, most of you will have already seen this post. I’m still laughing about it. Maybe by now you’ve forgotten about it though, and all this will be fresh news again – at least for those of you with memories like mine, it’ll work that way.
I won’t be getting much done toward my writerly goals for the next three weeks. Just thinking about being away from the keyboard that long is giving me cold sweats (and I am composing this post weeks in advance!)
To keep my blog from going stagnant on the search engines, I’ll post pictures from my collection of nature and plants. You’ve likely seen most of these if you follow my other blogs, but they’re all beautiful and perhaps you can use them to inspire nice thoughts or something, haha.
What will I be doing, you ask? Savoring. That’s the short answer.
The long answer is that Rob is coming in from Afghanistan. We’ll be heading to Colorado for a little snow and hot springs, and hopefully a lot of R & R for him. So not to worry, I’m going to be having fun, but I’ll be missing my writing no doubt. Keep me in mind and let me know you’re enjoying the photo show. I’ll be checking in from time to time, and if I get a good connection I’ll upload some pictures of the Rockies in January while I’m there.
Friday Fictioneers will be hosted by Jan Morrill and Susie Lindau in my absence. Jan will host the week of the 13th and Susie the week of the 20th. Everything will look the same on my end, I just won’t be here. If anyone new is trying to join or gets lost and posts links in the wrong places, they’ll move them to the comments of the story page and guide the new Fictioneers to where the action is happening
I’ll see y’all when I get back!
