Friends. Supper w/Carla this evening. Yes I’ve added it to my list of things to do. One could argue after looking at the rest of my list of things to do that I don’t have time to spend on personal fun, but I’d say you’re wrong. I don’t have time to figure out why at the moment, but I do know it’s important to me. Something to do with having a life aside from writing so that I actually have something to draw on when I am writing…
Editing. Editing dominates the list for this week, but this time it’s editing on my short story not Symbiosis. I tried. I can’t even *think* about them both at the same time, so I know I won’t be able to edit both. Which means I need to get the story out of the way as soon as possible. Which means all spare time is going to be spent on editing. Deadline for the short is April 15 but I’d like to be finished with it before then. There might be another round of edits requested on it later.
Postcards. Mail out my testers. I’ve decided to just offer both layouts since it’s no harder to do them both than it is to do just one. It’ll just require folks to let me know which layout they prefer. And if no opinion is given, I’ll choose layout #2 because that’s the one I like best. Links to the two layouts are on this post, if you’d like to view and vote for me. I’d still like to know which is most preferred.
Tuesday’s guest. This week K.V. Johansen, author of Blackdog, is our guest. She tells us her story about how she got to where she is as a multipublished author, most recently with Pyr Books.
Wednesday’s photo is already picked out, but not yet loaded. I’m still reading stories from last week!
Thursday’s pitch will be from K.D. McCrite and I’m looking forward to feedback on hers. The last two have been very helpful to me, and I hope to the pitch volunteers as well.
And then on Friday the madness begins again with the Friday Fictioneer stories. I’m still reading stories from last week!
So that’s the lineup for this week. Hope to see y’all around. If you don’t see me much, it’s because I’m editing.
