I feel lost without my usual routine of reading flash from #FridayFictioneers today.
What I am doing instead though, is something that’s been on my list for a long time. I’ve been procrastinating doing it because the chore just seemed so overwhelming.
I’m writing the synopsis for Symbiosis.
Instead of thinking of it as that dreaded thing usually accompanied by an f-word antecedent, though, I’m making a glorified, expanded outline.
I can do outlines.
And so far so good. Since when I wrote the first draft I had no true idea where it was going, I have a huge mess on my hands. But I’ve decided it’s worth saving and will whip it into shape over the course of the rest of this year.
